A Bright Invite

Gather the kids and with a few simple supplies, create this warm invite together. Make extras to group into a simple centerpiece!

1. Fold one fun-colored sheet of card stock in half, width-wise. Then with a pencil, lightly draw half a butterfly, making sure the crease will be the middle of the butterfly when cutout. With scissors, cut along your drawn line and unfold. Repeat step one with a contracting colored stock sheet.

2. Take one butterfly shape and cut along th ecrease fromthe bottom to the middle. Cut the other sheet from the top to the middle of the fold. Slide the two pieces together so they form a 3-dimensional butterfly that stands freely. Secure with a piece of tape along one edge.

3. Write your greeting with a dark felt-tip pen or marker one one of the wings. Then decorate your butterfly with anything from markers to colored paper and stickers. For fun polkda dots, cut out cirlces from colored cardstock and glue to wings.

Enjoy!
